Masks in the clinic

Although masks are not mandatory in general practices, this clinic still requires a mask to be worn when in the consulting rooms of Dr Tim Manners.

Vaping

Recent changes to the legislation around now requiring a script to legally obtain nicotine vaping products have now come into effect at Kings Park Clinic. Vaping is a potentially harmful activity in which our doctors have decided to not participate in prescribing this to patients that request it.

Wound Care

To provide continuous high quality care to our patients, Kings Park Clinic has adjusted the way dressings are billed.

There will normally be 2 payments on the day; the doctors fee and the dressing fee.

The doctors fee can be billed as a rebate only amount (which Medicare will give you all back), or a normal consult fee (where Medicare will give you part of it back). This is billed at the doctors discretion.

The dressing fee will be billed at the amount that the Nurse deems necessary, and is dependant on size, difficulty and time. This fee cannot be sent to Medicare and there will be no money given back.

Travelling Medical Clearances

If you wish to receive medical clearance to travel either interstate or internationally, there is a private fee that applies, with no Medicare Rebate.
